Flea Market
I was going to the flea market last Saturday with my two sons and my buddy Darin. My older son Thomas was distraught because his brother Nicolas had $7 to spend and he had only $3 to spend. This being because Thomas had spent most of his money on a toy that soon broke and Nicolas still had his part of the money they'd earned at a garage sale.
Darin asked Thomas if he'd rather that:
(a) - He has $2 and his brother has $3 -- or --
(b) - He has $3 and has brother has $7
As you might imagine Thomas (age 7) picked (a). But it occurred to me that there is an element in the political world who benefit from adults still thinking that (a) is better for them than (b) and
perpetuate that myth to their detriment.
